As a yoga teacher, my mission is to foster an environment of growth and healing. I am dedicated to guiding my students on a journey of self-discovery and improved health through the practice of yoga.

My name is Shima, and I am a Toronto-based yoga and meditation teacher with 5 years of teaching experience. I discovered yoga in 2015, when Iwas looking for a way to deal with the pressures of a high-stress job in Architectural Design. Yoga has transformed mylife and helped me to find balance and inner peace. I hold a 280 hours Yoga Certificate in yoga instruction from Yoga tree studio in Toronto, which has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of various yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin/Restorative. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of guiding students of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and transformative environment in each class, prioritizing proper alignment, breath control, and mindfulness. I strongly believe in fostering a sense of community and personal growth, allowing students to embark on their unique yoga journey .Moreover, my deep knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and meditation techniques enables me to providea holistic approach to teaching. I take pride in my ability to adapt poses to accommodate individual needs and injuries, ensuring that every student feels supported and empowered.
I strive to make yoga accessible to everyone, embracing inclusivity and diversity, and ensuring that individuals of all ages, body types, and abilities feel welcome and supported in their practice. Ultimately, my mission is to inspire and empower individuals to live their lives with greater authenticity, compassion, and joy, both on and off the mat.
